Board of Finance: Education spending grabs spotlight again

School spending took center stage again at a Board of Finance meeting, with residents weighing in from both ends of the spectrum, some with emotional pleas to spare cuts to the town’s education budget. “I am totally in favor of raising my taxes … so we can keep some of the best schools in the state,” said Laura Ryan, a parent. “I’ll put my money where my mouth is. I feel so passionate about this.”
