Clinton is next state insurance overseer

Kevin Clinton, an experienced Michigan insurance executive, is the state's new commissioner overseeing health insurance, banking and securities issues for the Office of Financial and Insurance Regulation. Gov. Rick Snyder said in a statement that Clinton's "first priority is to make sure consumers are protected by making sure financial institutions are sound."
