Deposit checks via PNC's new smartphone app
Running to the bank to deposit a check is looking as quaint as mailing a handwritten letter. PNC Financial Services Group Tuesday announced a smartphone application that lets customers of Pittsburgh's biggest bank deposit checks using their iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad 2 devices.
