Google finances solar power

Wednesday, June 15th, 2011 12:46:00 GOOGLE said yesterday it is investing US$280 million (RM848M) to help finance home solar projects in the Internet giant's effort to promote clean energy. Google said the money will create a fund to help SolarCity, a company which provides solar energy options for homeowners and businesses, to finance more solar installations across the United States.
