Japanese Stock Futures, Australian Shares Climb on U.S. Earnings, Buybacks

Japanese stock futures and Australian shares rose as U.S. takeovers, share buybacks and dividend prospects drove the Dow Jones Industrial Average to its highest close since June 2008.
