Lloyds Banking Group unveils S$4.86 billion quarterly loss

LONDON - Britain's state-rescued Lloyds Banking Group reported on Thursday a first-quarter net loss of ?2.4 (S$4.86) billion after setting aside a vast sum to compensate clients who were mis-sold payment insurance. The price of shares in the bank fell sharply.
