Wells Fargo Names Timothy Sloan CFO After Atkins' Surprise Retirement

Financial services provider Wells Fargo & Co. (WFC) named Tuesday its Chief Administrative Officer Timothy Sloan as the new chief financial officer, effectively immediately. The action followed the surprise retirement of Howard Atkins from the positions as CFO and senior executive vice president.
