Ambassador - Christine Leetham

TAFE NSW - Sydney Institute - Imagine - Celebrating 120 years anniversary - Ambassador, Christine Leetham, President, National Institute of Accountants & Head Teacher, Accounting & Finance Christine holds the post of Head Teacher of Accounting and Finance at Sydney Institute, and is currently acting as Assistant Director at Ultimo College. In addition to her roles at TAFE, Christine serves as President of the National Institute of Accountants (NIA) where she has been a member of the Board of Directors since 2002. At TAFE, Christine is responsible for delivering a range of accounting, banking and financial planning courses. Christine has also lectured and tutored at the University of Western Sydney since 1997. Her commitment to education is undeniable. "At Sydney Institute, we're very active in both mainstream and commercial training and it's important for us to be at the forefront of industry change. As a career teaching is fantastic, it's a lot of fun and wonderful to get student feedback. You see so many students come in from school not sure what they want to be. When they come back to visit a couple of years later employed or at uni, it's really rewarding."
