'Battle At Christmas'

One of the best places to visit at Christmas is the Sussex town of Battle. I love to go there at least once every year and the festive lights, olde worlde charm and community spirit I find there never fail to cheer me up and help me to enjoy the festive season. This video features footage from this year as well as film shot in Dec 2008. The references to Kings Road refer to a place in St Leonards, Hastings that for decades was every bit as beautiful and chrismassy but that no longer has the finance nor prosperity to replicate these scenes.
