"Selena, this is Nicholas, my fiancée" Selena's mom, Sophia said smiling and holding Nick's hand. "He's like half your age!" Selena shrieked. "Is this your daughter?" Nick said, his jaw dropping. "I thought you said she was nineteen" "She is" Sophia said laughing, "and he's not half my age. I'm only six years older." Sophia said with a hurt expression. "Nice to meet you" Selena said trying not to make eye-contact, "Congratulations" "Thank you" Nick said shaking her hand, "I've heard a lot about you" Selena hugged her mom "I just remembered that I have somewhere to be" "Oh" Sophia said, "Well, we need to talk sometime! You being my maid of honor and all" "I am?" Selena said smiling. "Of course!" Sophia said smiling back, "call me soon kid!" "Bye, see you soon Nicholas" Selena added as she left the restaurant in a hurry. -Later that Afternoon- "Oh my god" Selena said as she entered her apartment. "What happened to you?" Demi giggled. "It's like my life has become some sort of fucked up Kate Hudson movie" Selena screamed as she flung herself onto the couch. "Again I ask, what happened?" Demi said looking up from the book she was reading. "I hooked up with this gorgeous man last night" Selena said telling Demi all about how they meet at the bar, and how chill he had been. "But this morning, I go to meet my mom for breakfast. And he's there! Initially I thought he had followed me, but turns out- we were both meeting my mom there."
