Even celebrates 1 year anniversary of shared growth [Anchor] Shared growth is slowly replacing the idea of fast growth, which was the paradigm that has dominated the South Korean economy for the past 40 years. It's been one year since South Korea has advanced this idea of shared growth. An event was held to review the past achievements in shared growth and to seek better collaborations in the future. We have more on the event in our report. [Reporting] Shared growth combines the idea of growth, which is a foremost value in the free economy, and the idea of equal distribution. Breaking the preconception that promoting shared growth is a difficult task, big firms and small firms have forged collaborations in capital expenditures, employee education and co-development of technology. The Ministry of Knowledge Economy announced the beginning of the 2011 Shared Growth Week on Nov. 21 for a four-day run, to celebrate the achievements in shared growth and to remind the true meaning of shared growth. The opening ceremony took place at the Korea Electric Power Corporation, the state-run power company.
