About Indian Summer Residential Community / Golf & Country Club, Olympia, WA Indian Summer Residential Community is a gated community that surrounds the Indian Summer Golf & Country Club. There are approximately 500 single family homes, condos and townhomes. Many of the homes enjoy a wonderful golf course view. The community features a gate guard where visitors can check in, miles of sidewalks throughout to take a stroll in the neighborhood, walking trails through the nature preserve to observe an abundance of bird activity, and neighborhood access to the Chehalis-Western Trail for bicycling, walking and running. There is also a spa and salon, which is open to the public, as well as the clubhouse restaurant, The Embers, which is also open to the public. The clubhouse has banquet facilities for weddings, parties and other events. The Indian Summer Golf and Country Club features an 18 hole, 72 par course. The front nine is a links-style course and the back nine is a traditional course with some slopes and lots of trees. Indian Summer Golf and Country Club is a private club open to members only.
