"Iran and Iraq Bankroll Assad Crackdown on Protests - Syria Regime Burning Out" - 4-Jan-12

Al Jazeera Interview with Mahmoud Suleiman Haj Hamad, a Runaway Syria Government Finance Inspector who gives us the inside scoop on the inner financial dealings of the Syria Dictatorship. He Says the "Regime is Burning Out" and that many cities and neighborhoods are now almost "off-limits" for the Syria Army and Security Forces as the people have taken over many places and the army is afraid to enter, such as parts of Zabadani and parts of Homs. This guy is the Financial Inspector for the Council of Ministers and the Ministry of Defence and he ran away while on Vacation and is now in Cairo He says Assad's stories about armed gangs and terrorists are all nonsense and that they do not exist and mocks anyone who buys into Assad's propaganda and that he saw the army and security forces in buses and vans and cars heading to the protest rallies from the very beginning to go and kill the protesters. He says The Free Syria Army are just honest soldiers who are defecting because they have been ordered to kill civilians and they are refusing to follow those orders. he says 80% or more of the Officials and Executive Staff in all of the government ministries want to run away and defect as well but they are all too scared to do so because they are afraid of what the Assad regime would do to them and their families if they run away.
