LEAVING
As things go from bad to worse here in my country I had to write another song, this time its about the old "favourite" emigration, the minister for finance said recently " some young people are leaving this country as a lifestyle choice", it`s unbelievable to hear such rubbish coming from someone in his position, someone who we are led to believe knows how to lead us out of trouble, BOY ARE WE IN TROUBLE ! anyway as more and more young people leave behind heartbroken parents it`s all good , less unemployment, that`s what they want you to think, well I don`t buy it! what a spineless bunch of wasters we have running the country, anyway hope you all like this song I wrote. PS: their is a line near the end when I should have said " there nothing left in Ireland anymore" just could`nt do it for some reason.

Before you posted who wrote this song, I would have bet you were covering an Eric Bogle song. I spent a few minutes searching Google unsuccessfully for lyric lines, but by then your description appeared, and I was pleasantly surprised to find this time
