origin.cdbaby.com Through my college years, I had been working at Magic Mountain's Showcase Theatre which was the main draw of the park. We took care of top name acts coming through the amusement park in those days. I started by pushing a broom, after being hired by Michael McGiveny, who headed the Entertainment division in those days. McGivney had been in show business over the years I learned upon being hired. In short time, I rose to Theatre foreman and was invited into inner core of the division after three years and shortly after graduation from Loyola University in 1978. I was at Six Flags Magic Mountain from March of 1976 to March of 1979 in those days. I hated to leave after being invited to stay, but I really loved the motion picture field and I loved music. I thought I'd seek out my fortune in those areas, like I dreamed about as a boy. That never fully came together in my life sadly enough. However, while I was trying to find my way into the deeper part of the Entertainment industry, I was taking on temp jobs and even spent two years at Gibraltar Savings and loan where my mother worked after being interviewed by the top staff of the main office.
