Yesterday afternoon the 2 of the 4 candidates for Mayor of Modesto, California attended their last of 21 debate forums of the 2011 Modesto election. Modesto News .org went to the debate to get the final thoughts of Bill Zoslocki and Brad Hawn before the election this Tuesday November 8, 2011. Here is some more information about Mayoral Candidate Vice Mayor Brad Hawn from his campaign website BradHawn.com : "Brad Hawn is proud to call himself a lifelong resident of Modesto. He started his education at Franklin Elementary School and graduated from Modesto High before attending and graduating from University of the Pacific. His roots to the community cannot be questioned. Brad is a licensed civil and structural engineer, and for the last twenty eight years he has been a proud small businessman and employer to Modesto's residents. He has been active in the small business community, working with various organizations to improve and expand Modesto's economic engine. In 2003, Brad joined the City Council, and recognizing his skills as a small businessman, he was made Chair of the Finance Committee. In 2006, Brad was appointed Vice Mayor, and in 2009 was appointed as Vice Chair of the Economic Development Committee.
