Speaking at the 100th anniversary function of the Central Bank of India, Gujarat Chief Minister today emphasized on out of the box development of banking services. Modi said the Central Bank of India was established by a Gujarati Parsi young bank employee Sorabji Pochkhanwala who was just 30-year old at that time. His example should be put before the country and institutes like IIMs should study his example to throw light on this motivational chapter of history that was about establishing a Swadesi bank under the foreign rule. Modi suggested that the bank management should start Sorabji Chair in different universities. He said real treasure of the bank is trust of the people. Modi said that 10 out of total 12 best zonal offices of the Central Bank of India are in Gujarat which proves that how fast the state is progressing. He said this is an answer to those who spread falsehoods that there's no development in Gujarat.
