Netanyahu: Free education

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu recently said that everyone will get free education from the age of three, without any discrimination between sectors. This followed Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman's demand to grant free education only to children whose parents served in the IDF. Lieberman announced that Yisrael Beiteinu would not vote in favor of the lateral budget cuts that are expected to be imposed on the government's ministries, meant to support, among other things, the funding of free education for children ages three and over. Shas Chairman and Interior Minister Eli Yishai announced that his party would vote against the proposed lateral budget cut meant to finance the Trajtenberg Committee recommendations for social reform.
