North Penn SD - 2011-12 Superintendent Honor Roll Award - Eileen Franklin
Congratulations to NPSD Systems Support Specialist Eileen Franklin for being honored with the second Superintendent's Honor Roll Award of the 2011-2012 school year at the monthly ESC meeting this morning. Nominees described Eileen as the epitome of excellent support and customer service, particularly in the area of technology. In addition, she is involved in a myriad of activities catapulting the district's increasing use of technology applications that improve and streamline day-to-day usage, recordkeeping, enhanced accessibility of information for most of NPSD's stakeholders including parents, students, employees and the community. Eileen began working in the North Penn School District 14 years ago. She started out as a library processor/assistant in 1998 at Knapp Elementary School. She then became the technology assistant at Knapp in 2001. In October of that year, she became the technology suite secretary at North Penn High School. In 2003, she became the Administrative Technology Specialist at the ESC, eventually changing to the position of Systems Support Specialist in 2005. Eileen is described by her peers as thorough, thoughtful, collaborative and comprehensive. She is known as being prompt and possessing "top notch" trouble shooting and problem solving skills. One co-worker stated that she understands what the customer wants and leaves no stone unturned in trying to deliver the best results for that person.
