tonight political experts weigh in on how governor susana martinez did the first week on the job. here's jeremy jojola with what they're saying. jeremy. it's been a full- first week for governor martinez. everyday this week, her actions as governor made headlines -- good news for some---bad news for some state employees. since taking the oath---governor martinez got to work. her first executive order---establishi ng a task force to find government red tape that hurts business. on monday she announced plans to expand a criminal dna database. "i will work to pass legislation that requires those arrested for any felony offense to provide a dna sample to law enforcement." she then fired the environmental improvement board for establishing regulations her office sees as anti-business. she then laid-off two chefs at the governor's mansion and then announced all cabinet secretaries will also face salary cuts of about ten percent. the governor also forced the resignation of the spaceport director. and today she announced a plan to attract union pacific rail road to set up shop in new mexico with a tax incentive. political blogger joe monahan says martinez made it clear this week she's governor.
