Shanti Bhushan, former union minister and member of Lokpal Bill drafting committee, has written a letter to union finance minister Pranab Mukherjee asking for a televised debate on 5th of June on the Lokpal Bill. He also said in the letter that it should not be seen as a challenge to the government. He has requested the government to participate in the public meeting where issues are discussed by people for public consultation. Bhushan refused to comment on Baba Ramdev's hunger strike from June 4.
