It's the season to be merry. The guests and staff of Taj Palace Dubai got together for a traditional Christmas Tree lighting ceremony held earlier this week. The event took place in the beautiful lobby of the hotel with a surprised little girl selected from the gathering to help Mr. Ahmed Badawy, Director of Finance, Taj Palace Dubai press the button that lighted the tree. After the Christmas lights were illuminated there was a special party. The occasion was marked by all things festive from carols and cakes to cookies and goodies. The centrepiece was a large gingerbread house. According to Mr Badawy, "It is wonderful to see people from all nationalities come together to celebrate the season of good cheer. It is a great moment with Christmas and New Year just round the corner. We have got everything you need to make this season jolly." A menu devised to cater to every member of the family is indeed the hallmark of celebrations at the Taj Palace Dubai. Featuring seasonal delights is an international buffet on Christmas Eve, available at Le Rendezvous restaurant where prices start from AED135 per person, inclusive of soft drinks, or just AED250 for a couple. In addition, the cost for children between six and 12 is just AED59 while those under the age of six dine free.
