TWENTY SECONDS OF ALICE NEEL, DEFENDING HER RESPECTABILITY, FOR THESIS ILLUSTRATION ONLY

A TWENTY SECOND CLIP TO ILLUSTRATE A THESIS ABOUT BOHEMIAN VERSUS ANTI BOHEMIAN LIFESTYLES; TAKEN FROM A DOCUMENTARY CALLED 'ALICE NEEL' a documentary..........I cannot see how an artist i may show as having taken LSD with their children, circa 1969, should be any different from Alice Neel, who we may note is fretting about her son's concerns about respectability, not her own concerns about respectability.....or could they be taken as the same thing?. Anyway, the point is, that, I as the boy who adopted the substitute family, I am concerned that they, the family, are perceived retrospectively as cool by my standards. Thereby being proud of the fact that I as a teenager, was paid to take a mainline injection of heroin for a film about drugs and sex and magik made within their family home; or proud of dropping a massive acid trip with the whole family. So I want my beautiful adopted mama and family, to be filmed saying; if my adopted son sees this, I want him to see me as cool and bohemian; and to paraphrase this clip ''I am cool and bohemian, aren't I?'' Anyway, for what its worth, Alice Neel, has currently hit the one and a half million dollar mark in auction. Also for what its worth, she painted Andy Warhol's portrait, with what looks to me, like a womans breasts. The trailer (see below) of the documentary film by Alice's son Andrew Neel, called 'Alice Neel, a documentary film' is a superb piece of film making, not least for the sub text, which involves the two brothers ...
