Youth plan protests over cash demands

www.ntvuganda.co.ug Members of parliament representing the youth are threatening to mobilize a massive youth protest in Kampala by the 20th of this month if government fails to disburse a sum of 44.5 billion shillings meant to create jobs for the youth. The youth representatives warned that they would demonstrate naked in order to get the money from the ministry of finance where it is reportedly being kept. The money is part of a Youth Entrepreneurship Venture Capital Fund that was last year donated to the government by the German Foundation for International Development KFW to help young people start and expand business enterprises.
